At AlliedPRA, Tony leads the market leader in North America around destination-specific event management solutions. AlliedPRA is comprised of AlliedPRA-branded businesses, and recent additions to the system which include AlliedPRA companies – Briggs, DSC, Destination Nashville.
Prior to AlliedPRA, Tony Lorenz was a Founder and CEO of three successful event-focused businesses – an award-winning thought leadership online platform, BOB.tv – Best of Business. Prior, Tony also built and sold his successful event marketing agency, ProActive, to Freeman. Over four years, Tony then led the creative team for Freeman, integrating his company into the organization, now FreemanXP.
Tony has served in a wide variety of civic and industry leadership positions over his career. He currently serves as a member of the Executive Committee of PCMA Education Foundation Board of Trustees and is a Board member of Meetings Mean Business Tony holds a deep financial background and extensive experience in mergers & acquisitions to aid APRA in its aggressive growth plans. He’s a graduate of Harvard Business School – Owner/President Management program and holds BS in Accounting from the Kelly School of Business at Indiana University.
